This is a walnut box that I just finished for a relative for Christmas. The box dimensions are 15" by 11" by 5" high.
The interior of the box is lined with padded red velvet.

Wow, it feels like an antique. It's funny, the moment I clicked on it a train passed by the office, it was cool to see it and hear the sounds of a train all at once :)

Wow, all the work and creativity that goes into something like this - the way the grain plays a part in it, the different types of wood that are used along with other materials, it's great :) Thanks for the link.
